She Said She Was Too Weak to Walk. Then She Took a Few Sassy Steps.

“She was told she had pneumonia. She had not eaten for the whole month, lost a lot of weight, and had no strength to walk. We began to pray. The Lord put it on my heart to ask her to breathe in the Holy Spirit, explaining that He is the breath of Life. Alma started shallow, but as she kept breathing her breaths became deeper. By the time she had breathed in the last fruit of the Spirit, she was smiling. She said that while she was breathing, her back had stopped hurting and her chest as well. She had not even told us she had back pain.

Then someone asked her to do something she could not do before we came. She said she had been too weak to walk. So we invited her to get up and walk. She carefully stood up, all hunched over, and began to take careful steps toward the door. Each step she stood more and more upright until she was straight. She got a big grin on her face and took a few sassy steps, saying, 'I feel my strength returning!' We all rejoiced with her as she praised God!”
