2027 Healing Mission to Belize
2027 Healing Mission to Belize
Registration is Open | 80 Spots Remaining | Cost: $2,595
Be a part of releasing the transforming power of the Holy Spirit upon Catholic parishes and schools across the nation of Belize, February 2–9, 2027! Building on the extraordinary fruit of previous missions — in 2026 alone, Encounter prayed for over 7,000 people and witnessed thousands of immediate healings — we are sending 80 missionaries into nine regions throughout the country to minister the healing love of Jesus and to equip the local Church to move in the power of the Holy Spirit.
Mission Details
- Mission Teams – Encounter is sending 80 people in eight (8) teams to eight (8) different mission locations throughout Belize, including Belize City, Orange Walk, San Ignacio, San Pedro & Caye Caulker, Dangriga, Corozal, and Punta Gorda. Each Encounter Mission Team will be made up of ten (10) people: 1 Mission Team Leader, 1 Mission Team Co-Leader, 1 Mission Team Priest, and 7 Team Missionaries.
- Prayer Ministry & Training – During the first four days of the mission, each team will host two Healing Services at local parishes, lead two Healing Services at local high schools, deliver an Encounter Weekend Intensive to the host parish and surrounding area, and engage in street evangelization and healing prayer for the homebound.
- Retreat – After four days of active ministry, all teams will unite in San Ignacio for a two-day, Spirit-filled retreat to receive spiritual renewal, rest, fellowship, and cultural immersion.
- Retreat Opportunities – Rooted in the Sacraments through Daily Mass, Eucharistic Adoration, and Confession, we will worship, share testimonies, and celebrate the Lord's work throughout Belize. We will also have opportunities to explore local sites of beauty and cultural significance — including natural spring-fed waterfalls and pools, tropical botanical gardens, and ancient Mayan ruins — and connect with fellow missionaries from around the world through team meals, worship nights, and shared testimonies.

Fundraising
We know this is a sacrifice, and we want to honor that! Please do not let the cost keep you from saying, "Yes'. Through our fundraising platform, every missionary receives a personalized fundraising page that you can customize and share with those you feel led to invite into partnership with you. Fundraising is not about you, it's about the Lord. For many people, the Lord is not calling them to the mission field directly. For some, the way He calls them to mission is through financial support of those who are going. What a beautiful way to invite others into the mission alongside you! Do not be afraid to ask. The opportunity you extend may be exactly what someone in your friend/family member/coworker/neighbor has been waiting for. Let's not rob anyone of the chance to bless others! What Happens Next?
Once you apply and are approved, you will receive links with next steps. Please note that approval requires contact with your references, so make sure they are reachable.- Medical Questionnaire: We want to ensure you are physically prepared for what mission will involve.
- Safe Environment Training: Because we will be working with youth and the elderly, all missionaries must comply with safe environment protocols. Requirements vary slightly by country, but regardless of where you are joining us from, you will need to provide documented proof of current safe environment certification.

We desire to spread hope to the nation of Belize by bringing the reality of Abba Father's love through healing prayer ministry, prophetic prayer ministry, and homebound prayer ministry. We long to see those suffering from sickness, loneliness, and a lack of hope experience healing and encounter the living God. We desire to feed those who hunger for more by teaching, imparting understanding, and equipping them to minister with Jesus to the people around them. We desire to teach, equip, and activate the Catholic community of Belize to demonstrate the love of God through the power of the Holy Spirit in their families, places of work, and parishes.
By joining the Encounter Mission to Belize, you will be part of transforming lives in Belize! You will also experience a personal breakthrough in your own faith and prayer ministry.
